Romans 12:1-“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer
your BODIES as LIVING SACRIFICES, holy and pleasing to God–this is your
spiritual act of worship.”
Romans 6:12-13-“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that
you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as
instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who
have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him
as instruments of righteousness.”
I Corinthians 6:20, “You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with
your bodies.”
On Sunday we talked about how we can offer our bodies to God as living
sacrifices unto Him. We were challenged to dedicate all of our bodies, not just
our hearts, to the Lord for Him to use. The parts that were highlighted included
our stomachs, feet, hands, sexuality, mouths, eyes, ears, and minds. As you
move through the week be aware that God wants to gain glory through your
life, and that includes how you use the body He has generously given you to
use.
Let’s surrender it all for His glory this week!
