David Bowen

Support Pastor

Pastor David Bowen is a devoted minister of the Gospel with over four decades of faithful service. Ordained in October 1981, Pastor Bowen has dedicated his life to shepherding congregations and spreading the message of Christ with compassion, humility, and steadfast faith.

Throughout his ministry, he has pastored several congregations including Bentree Church of God, Sharon Church of God, and Green Valley Church of God, each time bringing spiritual guidance and heartfelt leadership to the communities he served. He has also served as an interim pastor at Buffalo Church of God, Sharon Church of God, and Nitro Church of God, offering support and stability during times of transition.

Currently, Pastor Bowen is a support pastor at Teays Valley Church of God, where he also provides hospital visitations and ministers to individuals and families in times of need. He continues to preach and teach by appointment and remains available to assist congregations and ministries in sharing the Word of God.

A widower, Pastor Bowen is the proud father of two daughters, Debbie and Bruce Hildebrand & Lynn and husband, Pastor Tom Wise, along with four grandchildren & three great-grandchildren who carry forward his legacy of faith and family.

With a heart for service and a calling to preach the Gospel, Pastor Bowen remains a faithful servant of the Lord, ministering wherever God opens the door.
