Financial Treasurer Position Available
Teays Valley Church of God is in the process of seeking a Financial Treasurer. The position is fifteen to twenty hours
per week. A job description can be picked up at the Welcome Desk or emailed upon request. Flexible hours,
however, some daytime hours are preferred. We will need to secure someone by or before March 1st. Email Pastor

Voices Of Praise Choir Rehearsals Resume Today
Voices of Praise choir will rehearse today at 4PM. We are meeting in the choir loft in the sanctuary. Anyone

Holy Grounds Bible Study – Thursdays
Judy Combs leads a dynamic Bible study on Thursday mornings at 10AM each week. What a great new habit to get
into for the new year! This group meets at the church in Classroom A. All are welcome.
Adult Life Group – Begins 01/13
Pastor Megan is leading a Life Group that meet at the church on Sundays at 6pm, beginning January 13th. They are
studying “Guard Rails… Avoiding Regrets in Your Life” by Andy Stanley. Those single or with children are welcome,

Manly Meal…and this time it is dinner! – 01/15
All men are invited to meet with other men from TVCOG at Quaker Steak & Lube in Southridge on Tuesday, January
15th at 6PM. In an effort for others to participate we will be having some during the lunch hour and some during

Baby Dedication – 01/20
This is an opportunity for parents to publically commit to raising their children with Christian teachings and values. If
you have a child that you would like to dedicate to the Lord, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org. There will be
a dedication class held on Saturday, January 19th at 10 AM on the second floor in the children’s ministry worship
Designer Board Game Night
Those ages 6th grade and up are invited to participate in this free game night that will test your strategy skills! These
are not your average board games! This is a community group that will meet the first and third Monday of the month

“CWC Christian Women Connection”” – This group meets monthly for meetings and works to support missions
both local and abroad. In addition to the monthly meetings they have several outreach projects and fundraisers. All

Manly Meals – This men’s group meets at various restaurants once a month throughout the year. Some are at
noon for lunch and some are at 6pm for dinner. The schedule is as follows but may be subject to change.

“Young at Heart” – This group of seniors 55 and over meet once a month for a carry-in luncheon, fellowship and
various guest speakers. This is a great way to meet new people in the same season of life.

This year our children’s ministry will be partnering with the Pine Ridge Christmas Project to provide shoeboxes for 20 children in Marion, South Dakota. The items are listed below. We will have a packing party on Wednesday, November 14th after Christmas play practice. If you have any questions, please let Pastor Megan know.
