What are the services like?
Sunday services start with a mix of new and traditional worship music. Whether you worship with your hands held high, singing out loud, or you stand in quiet reflection, we pray that you will feel God’s Spirit moving in your heart. Services usually run about an hour and fifteen minutes in length.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Teays Valley Church of God. Some people dress in their Sunday best and many dress casually. Come as you are!
What classes are available for kids?
We believe in cultivating a relationship with Jesus early in a child’s life.
For Sunday service, we offer an infant nursery for ages 0-14 months and a walker nursery for ages 15-30 months. We offer lesson-based classes for ages 2 1/2 years to 5th grade.
For Wednesday nights, we offer a nursery for ages 0-3yrs, preschool-kindergarten class for ages 4-6 years and an elementary class for grades 1-5th.
We have secure check-in & check-outs with background-checked volunteers to ensure your kids are kept safe while having fun and learning about Jesus. Make sure to leave yourself a few minutes before service starts to get your kiddos checked in.
