Dear Church,

In light of the Resurrection, we continue to answer the question, “Where do we go from here? Mark 16:15-20 informed us to go into all the world in Jesus’ name.

1. In order to go into all the world, the disciples had to have a shift in their mindset. They had to get beyond the idea that Jesus had just come to save the Jewish people, but that He did, in fact, come to save all who would believe in Him.

We too must adopt a new mindset if we are going to successfully go into all of the world. We must put down fear and walk in faith. We must also move beyond a “What’s in it for me” mindset and commit to what will bring the most glory to God.

2. As we go, we are to go IN THE NAME of JESUS! When we invoke Jesus’s name, we are representing Him and His interests. We are also equipped with His power and authority.

When you are faced with a situation that calls for a God-ordained miracle, you are to invoke the name of Jesus, and God will back you up. How many believers are underusing the power in the name of Jesus?

So, that’s it. Where do we go from here as we continue our exploration of the difference the Resurrection makes? We are to go into all the world (which will likely require a new mindset) in the name of Jesus which gives us the power and authority to carry out our assignment.

Join us for dinner on Tuesday night at the Acres at the “Burning Bush Bistro” and for our mid-week worship and the Word.

Don’t forget to bring items of value on Friday night to the church for the CWC rummage sale.

In an attempt to keep everyone connected, even when you are unable to attend our worship services, we are now attaching an electronic copy of the bulletin to the Weekly Connection.

God’s best to each of you as you live a life of Resurrection!
