Dear TVCOG Family,

How is your guest list coming?  Who have you witnessed to?  Who have you invited to church?  Take every opportunity to invite, invite, invite!

On Sunday, I challenged you to cast a shadow of influence of help and healing by offering:  HEALING WORDS, HEALING ACTS AND HEALING PRAYER!

Remember:  Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings HEALING.” (Proverbs 12:18)  Use healing words.

Remember:  “Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,” but  does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” (James 2:15)  Add healing acts to your healing words!

Remember: “The prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective!”  (James 5:16) Say what you can to help the situation.  Offer what you can to help out in the situation, but ultimately, nothing is more practical or effective than praying for the person in need!  Pray healing prayers!

**Engaged and married couples, there you can still RSVP to attend the “Evening to Remember” at the Fireside Grille this Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. until Thursday at noon.  It is $10.00 per person for an appetizer buffet.  If your children will take advantage of the Valentine Party/Childcare service at the church, please RSVP to Pastor Wendy by noon on Thursday as well.

I hope to see you tonight for our midweek worship and studies at 6:45.

Blessings, and remember, “You are Christ’s Ambassador!”  What message will you convey this week?

Pastor Melissa
