Happy New Year!
Yesterday we talked about allowing God to search us:
Psalm 139:23-24 “Search me, O God, and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Before you look forward to 2013, look within. Do you trust God completely? Have your thoughts, attitudes and actions glorified God? Don’t evaluate in a hurry. Let the Holy Spirit take His time. Confess your sins. Anxious thoughts can come when we take control of our lives. Anxious thoughts can come when we sin against God. Remember:
Trusting God completely means letting go of the process, accepting the pace AND proclaiming the victory.
God has a reason for doing what He does at the pace He choses. (Exodus 23:29) God will never lead you to fail!
Decide in 2013 that you are going to trust God for every outcome!
