The Weekly Gospel Word Banner

Dear Church,

Mark 5 21:43 tells the story of two different people. Both pressed in to Jesus to have a healing need met. Both pressed in to Him with faith (vs. 23, 28, and 34). Both came to Him with great humility (on their knees!). Both pressed through major obstacles to get to Him, pushing through the crowd, pushing past their emotional turmoil, and beyond the limitations of their own thoughts and what appeared to be true in the natural realm. Both pressed past fear. They went beyond the “what ifs” and the finality of the “worst case scenario.” They just trusted Jesus.

If you are struggling today, remember, God doesn’t lose track of time, and He won’t lose track of you. He is never late. “Don’t be afraid. Just believe.” (verse 36) God is at work in ways you cannot see. Take His hand and press in to Him today with full faith and great hope that help is on the way!
