Weekly E-vitation
I hope you are off to a good start to your week. Remember this week to “Live well, laugh often, and love much.”
Living well is the result of intention. You have to decide to live well! You have to intend to enjoy life! Calendar some fun this week! (Ecclesiastes 11:8)
Living well is also the result of living with integrity. Decide that you are going to live for Christ and do it to the best of your ability in His power no matter where you are, who you are with and no matter what you experience. That’s integrity! Job made that commitment (Job 27:5). Integrity pleases the Lord! (1 Chronicles 29:17)
Laugh often. Life is too short to be serious or stressed all of the time. Laughter is medicine (Proverbs 17:22) that will reduce your stress and boost your immune system.
Love much. Remember, loving others means showing we value them. Spend some special time this week showing God and others that you value them by the way you love them.
How can you live more purposefully? What can you add or take away to help you live well? How is your integrity at the moment? What is going on that you can laugh about? How can you quit taking things personally and lighten up a bit? How do you rate in the “love much” category? Would God say, “He is a man or she is a woman who loves Me and others much?” Accept the encouragement today to live well, laugh often and love much.
Baptism Announcement
Any students or adults who are being baptized on June 3rd need to attend the class this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Children will meet with Pastor Wendy on Saturday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m.
Newcomer Announcement
All newcomers are invited to a special welcome dinner this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Please RSVP to this email if you haven’t signed up. You’ll meet the staff and ministry directors and their families and hear more about ways to be involved in the life of TVCOG! Please come and help us get to know you better!
Zumba comes to TVCOG!
Jessica Spencer will be teaching Zumba on Monday nights at 7 starting in June. The cost will just be $1.00. Space is limited so register by emailing or calilng the church office.
