In 2 Chronicles 20 Jehoshaphat learned a vast army was coming to attack him. He had NO PLAN and NO POWER to defeat the enemy. What was he going to do?

Verse 3 tells us he went into prayer expecting that as part of his prayer He would hear back from God. Do you need help facing a crisis in your life? Take time to listen to God this week!

In verse 17 the Israelites were told that even though the battle was God’s and He would fight it for them, they had to position themselves for victory. Their position was one of praise! They got on the faces in worship. They stood up and worshipped. They worshipped on their way to battle all the way to the battle line. They praised God with loud praises when it was all over. As believers, we worship not because we have already won all of life’s battles, but because we are living in a constant state of victory!

They literally sang and worshipped their way through the crisis, all the way to the battle line! God delights to glorify Himself when we demonstrate faith. Only faith-filled people can worship at the battle line.

As a result they plundered their enemies, and it took three whole days to carry off all of the goods! They were better off as a result of the battle.

God will never call you to the battle line and have you leave empty handed. God will teach you something, show you something, or give you something that will enrich your life.

No plan? No power? God has both. Pray and position yourself for victory!
