Brothers and Sisters,
I hope this is a mountain conquering week for you! Review Matthew 21:18-22!
Let me remind you that we can conquer mountains in at least two ways:
1. Move them out of your way by speaking to them and taking authority over them and by praying to God to ask Him to remove them.
2. Climb them by relying on the promises of God and with wholehearted devotion! (Review Joshua 14:12 and Caleb’s determination.)
Mountains can only be what they are, but you, in Christ’s power and by His authority and through His strength can be more than the mountain! If it doesn’t move after you speak to it and pray about it, set out to climb it!
Remember, God isn’t as interested in doing something for us as He is in doing something IN and THROUGH us. God shows off best when we take the climb in His strength!
Some of you have gotten discouraged and quit. Jesus didn’t just move the mountain out of your way like you had wanted, hoped or prayed, and you didn’t decide to climb. Some of you have given up on ever conquering the mountain. Some of you need to make up your mind that the inheritance is worth the climb. The victory is worth the effort. Declare this week, “Give me this mountain. I will take the mountain with God’s help.”
Speaking, praying and climbing can literally change the landscape of your life. Let’s go conquer some mountains this week!
