Dear Church,
Pastor Jonathan reminded us all that while it is good to be a “fan” of all God is doing, we also need to be on the field. Look for ways to “get in the game” this week.
THIS COMING SUNDAY, we will be taking a “First Fruits” offering for our capital campaign. If you have made a pledge, we are asking that you consider giving a ten percent portion of that pledge this Sunday. If you have decided to give monthly and can just give your first month’s amount, that is also fine. If you are still waiting on God to supply the funds, just be in prayer for this offering.
If you haven’t made a pledge to the campaign, there is still time . . . THREE YEARS, in fact! Remember, the pledge isn’t based on what we know we can do, but on what we believe God can supply. People have donated jewelry, trailers, property, guns, time shares and just yesterday, a sewing machine, to be sold for the campaign’s success. In addition to cash money, think of the creative things God could use to make Mission Possible, possible. 🙂
All of you will be receiving ongoing information about the campaign whether you have made an initial pledge at this time or not. We want all to be informed of our progress together. God is supplying, and we want you to be able to celebrate!
