Dear Church,

On Sunday I spoke about coming together in celebration. Psalm 118:24-This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. We have so many reasons to rejoice! Here are four reasons from Psalm 118:

We can rejoice because God’s love is enduring. (Vs. 1-4)
We can rejoice because God hears and helps us. (Vs. 6-9)
We can rejoice because God gives us victory. (Vs. 10-15)
We can rejoice because God gives us a testimony. (Vs. 16-23)

This is the day the Lord has made. This is the day to experience His love and to let it become the foundation for your life. This is the day the Lord has made. This is the day to cry out to God in faith believing that He will hear you and help you. This is the day the Lord has made. This is the day to receive salvation and to hide yourself in Christ’s victory. This is the day the Lord has made. This is the day to allow Him to change your narrative, to re-write your story, to give you the happy ending only He can write in and through your life. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
