September 13 IMPACT

On Sunday I offered a three-point strategy for living well while we live. Revisit these two Scriptures and the main points: James 4:13-14-Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Ephesians 5:15-16-Be very careful, then, how you live–not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

• Life is short. Let’s live rested and refreshed.
• Life is short. Let’s live for God’s purposes.
• Life is short. Let’s live ready for the day our time on earth is through.

Pray today that God will reveal any changes you need to make in order to live your best possible life. Let’s de-clutter and de-stress our lives. Let’s look to make our family a priority and find ways to live on purpose for God’s purpose for each of our lives as individuals. Let’s live with eternity always in mind and make sure our hearts are ready for the day God calls us home.
