Dear Ambassadors,
Sunday I introduced the “Year of the Invitation.” Our theme verse for the year is II Cor. 5:20.
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.”
As Christ’s Ambassadors, we are to represent Him well as we deliver His message! The challenge during this “Year of Invitation” is to develop a list of three or four people that you will begin reaching with various invitations which will lead to one culminating invitation where you will ask at least one of those people, “Would you like to invite Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior?”
Remember, Jesus didn’t say in Matthew 28:19 that we should “Go and attend church.” He said, “Go and make disciples.” Are you open to the challenge? Are you willing to be an Ambassador for Christ? Can God make His appeal through you in 2012?
