Unity Service-September 25th at 6:30pm
Join us a week from Sunday night for a special celebration! Area sister churches will be coming together for a special evening of praise and worship. Our “Voices of Praise” choir will be singing. We’ll provide finger foods in the lobby following the service. Please see Tami Evans if you can help by bringing some refreshments.
New to the Faith Sunday School Class
We are offering a new Sunday School class for those who are new Christians or for those who just want to learn more about the basics of Christianity. It will be held in the church office and will be co-taught by Jill Turner and John Kincaid. Please sign the sheet on the Welcome Center if you plan to attend. Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m. each week.
New Sunday Evening Eight-Week Class
A special Life Application Study entitled “Dealing with Difficult People” will be offered starting Sunday evening October 2 at 6:00pm at the church. This eight week study will explore Biblical ways to understand, respond to, and deal with difficult relationships. The study will be lead by John Kincaid. Please see John to sign up.
Newcomer Lunch
If you are thinking about making TVCOG your home church or if you have never attended a newcomer luncheon, we invite you to be our guests for lunch after church on Sunday, October 2nd. Our staff and ministry directors would love an opportunity to share with you. Please sign the RSVP sheet across from the Welcome Desk if you plan to attend. Be sure to indicate the number of people who will be attending with you.
Corn Maze & McDonalds Trip
Sunday October 9th, meet at the church at 2:30pm. Bring $6 for the maze & food money. For all K-5th Grade. Children 1st grade and under need to be with an adult. Please RSVP by October 5th to Pastor Wendy.

Kanawha Valley Youth Fellowship Annual Back to School Bash
Saturday, September 24th join area youth from churches across the Kanawha Valley for an awesome night of inspiration and fellowship. It is at 7:00 p.m. at the Nitro Church of God. Pastor Tom Wise will be the speaker and a pizza party will follow.
